Busy Thanksgiving

We had a very Busy Thanksgiving Day. We woke up and the four of us watched most of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and then we took Sean to his Mom's house! Then the 3 of us headed to Wake Forest to Celebrate Thanksgiving with Jay's Mom's Side of the Family. It was nice outside so we all hung out in the Joe and Moniques Back Yard. Jack and Lucy played together in the backyard or I guess it would be better to say they played next to each other. We ate a meal with all of them and then after we headed out to Ashley's parents house. We had dinner with Ashley's family and Jim and Amy Rigney. Jack enjoyed his 2nd meal of the day and really enjoyed the cranberries like he did at lunch. He had a blast playing after dinner and entertaining everyone!!

Busy Day- Raleigh Christmas Parade

Today was a super Busy Day. We started the day off by heading to down town Raleigh for the Christmas Parade (yes the parade was a month before Christmas). It was very cold out there!! W stayed for most of the parade but left a little early because we were so cold. Jack enjoyed most of the parade that he watched and then fell asleep in his Ergo Carrier that I was wearing/carrying him in.

Playdate at our House

Jack and I originally had plans to meet at Local Park with some of the other Mommies and Babies in our little playgroup. Well the Weather that week was Horrible do to the reminents of the Hurricane that went through. So Jack and I hosted a last minute playdate at our house which worked out perfect because the furniture was gone being reupholstered so there was tons of room for the kids to play. We had a bunch of mommies and babies and everyone seemed to have a blast together. Here are a few pictures!!

History and Science Museums

We for once had a free weekend and were trying to figure out something Free or Cheap and Different to do with the Boys. I started looking around online trying to think of an idea and we decided to head to downtown Raleigh to go to the Science and History Museums and have a picnic lunch down there. The boys both seemed to have a blast as did Daddy and Mommy. We did the History Museum First and then had our picnic lunch outside in the eating Area and then Headed over to the Science Museum. We were able to go to a Reptile Show they were having where they showed a bunch of snakes and let people pet them. Jack wanted to touch them so bad but I knew he'd try and grab them and then he'd put his hands in his mouth so we decided we'd pass on that. Daddy giving Sean a lesson about Wars and Weapons!!

Jack had a blast looking at all the real and fake animals!!
