1st Communion Party for Killmeyer Girls
Good Friends of mine the Killmeyers who I used to work for at their Game store while in Highschool and college have 2 beautiful little girls Karen and Leanne who made their 1st Communion at the beginning of May and had a party with family and friend's to celebrate on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It was held at a local park with a great shelter, playground and climbing rock. The kids all had a blast and Jack loved playing with the big kids!! Here are a few pictures from the party. Its sill so weird to me that these 2 almost 8 year olds were once as small as Jack and I babysat them then!! Man does time fly!! And the girls are so adorable playing with Jack and of course he eats up the attention from them.

Sean climbing up the rock!! Of course there was a quick and easy way to do it but he was on mission to figure out other ways that were harder.

Strawberry Picking
We had be looking for places to go strawberry picking around the area and I found place in Raleigh so we met my mom, AJ and her niece Ava, and our friends Maddie and Jenny at a cute lil strawberry patch/farm. We had planned to go one day but it was supposed to rain plus it had rained the 2 days before so I knew it would be really nasty...but even when we went a day later it was still pretty muddy and we all had muddy shoes/feet by the end. Jack had a blast picking strawberries with his Gramie and really got into it as time went on. As we were walking out of the strawberry patch Jack decided to run off in front of me and took off into a nice "puddle" of water in a ditch instead of crossing the little bridge. As soon as he got in the water he started to splash and run around and thought it was so much fun!! Thankfully AJ had her camera out and snapped a few pictures of him. Here are just a few of the super adorable pictures I got that day.

Mother's Day
We started Mother's Day off with Jay making pancakes for breakfast followed by us meeting Gramie and Papa, Courtney and Jonathan at church for mass. Then after church we spent the afternoon and evening at Gramie and Papa's house. Courtney's dogs Sydney and Byron also came over for the afternoon and Jack had a blast playing with them. Here are a few adorable pictures from mothers day esp. with the dogs.

Jay's Birthday
Friday was Jay's birthday so we celebrated with Jay's Parents by having a surprise cookout with them. While we were waiting for them to come over Jack and Sean were having fun putting on Sean's hats and sunglasses. Jay's parents bought Jay a new grill for his birthday but wanted to surprise him with it so we hid it on the side of the house earlier in the day and then when it was time Allen and I brought it from around the house to the backyard. We grilled chicken and steaks and Allen and Liane brought over the sides to go with it. While Jay was grilling dinner on his new grill the boys enjoyed playing in the backyard. And we enjoyed dinner in the back yard at our picnic table out enjoying the beautiful weather. Here's a few pictures from the evening.
Jack was supposed to be giving the gift to Daddy but decided to open it himself!

Pizza Playdate
Mommy signed up for a Mom's Red Baron Pizza Party through House Party and won it. So through this company and Red Baron we were provided with 3 pan pizzas, 2 pan pastas, free pizza cutters/coupons/free music cards for guests and some different items for decorating and all we had to do was invite people over to a party to eat and enjoy this free stuff. Jack and Mommy hosted our weekday Mom's Group for the pizza party and the kids played in the backyard for a while and then we all enjoyed the pizza and pasta for lunch. The kids had a blast and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the awesome thing was that it was all FREE!! There are a ton of cool parties to sign up for and we try all the time to get other parties!! Here are just a few of the many pictures of Jack's friends at the Get Together.

Playdate at the Park with Maddie
Jack and I met Jack's friend Maddie and her Mom Jenny at the park for a playdate. The weather was nice and the kids had a blast playing together at the Toddler Size park. We hadn't seen them in a couple weeks so when the kids saw each other they both got so excited and went running for each other. They are such cuties together and have such similar personalities so they play great together. And of course when its time to go they gave each other hugs and kisses and walked to the parking lot holding our hands and each others hands (it was so adorable and they looked so grown up!!). Here are a few shots I got of them while we were at the park.

Greensboro Trip
Saturday, May 1st Jack traveled with Mommy and Daddy to Greensboro for the day to attend Mommy's IARC Reunion with her design friends. We all had a blast talking to everyone and walking around the beautiful building that the IARC building is in now. After the Reunion Open House we walked around campus for a bit before taking a little drive around Greensboro to see all the new development especially all the apartments near campus. We ended our day in Greensboro with Dinner at Rock O la where Daddy worked in college with our friends Kyle and Karla and then we headed back home after a busy day in Greensboro but a fun one of college memories!!!
