Aunt Courtney & Uncle Jeremy's House for the Afternoon

Jack, Sean and Mommy went over to Aunt Courtney and Uncle Jeremy's House for a late breakfast and to hang out and carve pumpkins since we hadn't gotten to spend too much time with them since they got married. Jay had to work all day so we missed having him with us. We had yummy pancakes and bacon cooked by Jeremy and then we hung out and Jack tried on the dog's costumes, took a bath and started helping Aunt Courtney carve a pumpkin and he decided he didnt really like the texture of the pumpkin guts so he moved on. Uncle Jeremy was a good sport and carved the pumpkins with Sean and their next door neighbor who was around Sean's age! We all had a great day over there and enjoyed spending some time with them!

Silly Boy

Jack is quite a nut lately! he put his shirt over his head and left his arms in it and was running around the house like this giggling!! Then I got him to model his denim Diapers that his Snana (Nana Sprissler) brought up in September because one of the ladies at her condo complex saw them and decided that Jack had to have some.

Playgroup Halloween GTG

Our playgroup met up at a local park for a Playgroup Halloween GTG! This is a tradition we started last year. We dress the kids up in their Halloween costume and meet up at local park for the kids to play and have a bunch of snacks and of course snap pictures of the kiddos! This year was much different then least years because very few of them could walk last year now they are all running around and up and down steps and slides! It was so fun seeing all their cute costumes and watching them all get excited by their friend's costumes!

Scrapbooking with the Ladies

Jay and Sean went down to Fort Fisher at the beach for Sean's Boyscout Camping trip and Liane (nana) was having an overnite scrapbooking event since Allen (umpa) was out of town so after Mommy worked Jack and I joined the ladies for an evening of scrapbooking (well Jack was already asleep when we got there) and then the following day of scrapbooking as well. Jack was a good sport and just played, colored, napped, scrapbooked and had fun with everyone especially his buddy Charlie!! Jack and Charlie watching out the Window!

Jack's 2nd Birthday

This year the theme for Jack's 2nd Birthday was Rubber Duckies! We started collecting little rubber duckies right after Jay and I got married because a family friend gave us a Giant Rubber Duck named Mr. Bill and from there we just sorta had fun finding all kinds of rubber ducks! (you wouldn't believe how many different rubber ducks there are out there!!). I made all the decorations myself to go along with the Rubber Duck theme..including his special Birthday shirt that Aunt AJ made that was a white shirt with a number 2 sewn on that was cut out of rubber duckie fabric. The kids all got Rubber Ducks, Bubbles, coloring sheets, and lollipops in their goodie bags to go along with the theme. We did pizza and salad along with Animal "Quackers" and Fish "Quackers". The kids just played in the backyard with Jack's toys, sandbox, playhouse etc. The biggest hit was Sean's stomp rocket that he took out and all the toddlers flocked towards it and took turns shooting the rocket off. The weather was perfect and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Jack loved having everyone sing Happy Birthday to him and blew the candle out all by himself! After all his friends headed home he opened his birthay presents with our immediate families and was so excited to see all the fun things he got.

Yard Work Helper

Jay needed mulch for the backyard so my dad was kind enough to pick a truckload up for us and bring it over after Sean's soccer game one Saturday morning. Well as soon as Jack saw the wheelbarrow he had to ride in it so Papa took him on a ride around the yard and Jack thought that was soooo fun. Jack helped rake the mulch into place and tried to help Papa clean all the mulch out of the back of the truck. They all seemed to enjoy spreading the mulch together.

"CHEEEEEESE!!"

Sean's Mom was in a CNA class and needed me to keep his sister Virginia one Friday that she had class all day and it so happened to also be a day Sean had no school so he got to spend the day with his brother and sister. They all had a blast together and had a great time at the park as you can tell by the pictures below.
