Liam's 3rd Birthday Party at Hill Ridge Farms
Jack's Friend Liam celebrated his 3rd birthday with a really fun part at Hill Ridge Farms. Jack had a blast at the party riding in the red caboose on the train, taking a hay ride, having pizza and cake and then playing on the giant slide, in the corn box (like a sandbox but with corn kernels) and checking out the animals. He crashed on the way home after a fun day!

Park Playdate and IceCream
This morning we met some of Jack's lil friends for a playdate and picnic at Landfill Park in Raleigh. The kids had a blast playing on the playground and Jack and his friend Jocelyn had fun playing in the water fountain together too! After the park we headed over to Brewsters for Ice Cream where they give Kids a Kiddie Cone with googly eyes on the ice cream!! They all really enjoyed it and of course made messes!

Daddy and Nana's Baccalaureate & Graduation
Jay and His mom have been working really hard the past 1.5 years to finish their Bachelors Degrees at Peace College in the Adult Degree Completion Program where they take 5 week long classes in the evenings. They were not only the 1st class to graduation from this program but Jay was one of the 1st male students to graduate from there. Needless to say the News & Observer and others were very interested in them for pictures and a story in the newspaper as a mother and son graduating from the program together esp. with Jay being one of the 1st males. We started the weekend off with the Baccalaureate outside at the school and then the 5 of us celebrated with Dinner at Second Empire!! Then Saturday we began with Graduation that morning followed by a big celebration for both of them at Jay's parents house complete with Pig and Fixins, Beer and Cake!! It was a dual Graduation celebration as well as celebrating Jay's 27th Birthday!! It was great to celebrate their accomplishments together with special people in their lives!!
