Potty Training

We started yesterday (Tuesday) with the 3 day potty training method that a few friends have used to successfully potty train their kiddos! The first day we had about 9 accidents and 3 successful times on the potty. Today so far we have had one accident and 2 successful potty trips. he is very proud of himself because after 5 stickers for peeing in the potty he earned a matchbox car. now he's working towards another matchbox car after he gets 7 more stickers! Hopefully the trend of getting to the potty continues! its a good week to be stuck up in the house cuz its blah outside especially today with the yucky rain.

Obsessed with Ghostbusters

Jack is obsessed with the Ghostbusters to say the least!! He loves to watch the movies, pretend to be a ghostbuster and play with Jay's old Ghostbusters firehouse and ghostbusters action figures. Well Jack decided one evening that he needed to comb his ghostbusters hair with Jay's comb after he finished combing his own hair. I snapped a few pictures of him doing this!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Jack was so cute about his St. Patrick's Day Shirt and Socks. He told people all day long that he was an Irish Kid (that's what his shirt says), and said it so proudly! Here are a few cute and silly pictures I took of him!

Crazy Day of Boys

I usually watch Seth, a 4.5 year old little boy, on Thursdays and Fridays when his mom is at work. Well one Wednesday evening my friend Stefanie asked if I was busy Thursday because their sitter had to cancel on them, and I told her I just watched Seth and that was fine for her to bring the boys over! I dropped Sean off at school and then soon after getting back home Seth (4) got dropped off and soon after that Drew (2.5) and Jacob (10months) got dropped off too. So I spent the day with 4 children 4 and under and they were all boys!! But they had a blast playing and everyone was soooo well behaved. The hardest part was trying to get everyone fed at the same time esp. since Jacob needed me to feed him but it all worked out just fine. And then ALL FOUR boys took a nap at the same time!! I couldn't have been so lucky. Luckily Liane was able to get Sean from school and drop him too me! All in All it was a fun day and I sure was tired that night! Jack loved having his friends over!

Fun in the Backyard

Jack LOVES to play in the backyard in his lil log cabin house, play basketball or soccer, run around, play in the sand box and he loves riding his Buzz Lightyear car that Aunt Courtney and Uncle Jeremy got him for his birthday. I love that is been so nice out lately that we can get out and play in the backyard. He gets very excited by the planes in the sky as u can see in the pictures of him on the picnic bench!!

His New Big Boy Booster

I have been slack about getting Jack a booster seat to sit at the table with us because it was just as easy to stick him in his highchair, and there are plenty of times when we are out somewhere that he will sit in a booster seat. I figured he would enjoy getting to sit with us and now's a good time to switch him. I got a very nice booster seat at a consignment sale for less then 5 bucks and was very pleased. The minute we got home he was ready to eat his lunch in his big boy seat. Here are a few pictures of his first few times at the big boy table!!

Happy Valentine's Day

We started off our Valentine's Day with a playdate at Jack's Friend Jocelyn's House with some of his playgroup friends. They did a Valetine's Craft, exchanged Valentines with their friends, and had a special Valentine's Day snack. We rode out to Jocelyn's house with Jack's little Friend Maddie and her mom Marie. After the playdate we had lunch at ChickFila and then Marie and I hung out at her house while the kiddos napped (we put Jack in a packnplay in their guest room) and he didn't really nap cuz he had decided to have a brief snooze in the car on the way home and got a 2nd wind. But it was nice to just chill with Marie. Then that afternoon we went to the park with her husband Mike and then Jay joined us at their house and we had dinner together. It was a fun day with friends!!
