Trip to VA

My Best friend Jennifer lives in VA and her boyfriend Just finished building a beautiful house in June and we hadn't gotten the chance to make it up there yet to see them and the house between our busy summer and her starting a new job this summer so we planned it for November when things died down for her at work. Jack and I took the train up on a Saturday morning and got in that early evening and got to spend sometime with Aunt Ellen, Uncle Greg and Eric while Jen finished up at work. Jack had a blast wrestling with Greg and just playing with him. Then we spent the rest of the visit over at Eric and Jen's playing, watching tv, going to the park, lunch with Aunt Ellen, etc. Jack had a blast at Jen and Eric's and loved being sneaky and climbing up the stairs and just running around. His favorite was to run down the upstairs hallway right into their master bedroom to the big soaking tub and turning the bath water on...needless to say he had to have a bubble bath in there Sunday night!! It was great getting to spend some quality time with Jen and just hang out and enjoy each other's company. The train ride home was a long ride cuz the power on the inside didnt work so we had no air flow and the dvd player couldn't be plugged in but luckily Jack was a pretty easy traveler. When we got to Raleigh they took everyone off the train and were going to send people to their destinations by bus since they couldn't fix the power on the train. Luckily we were able to call Jay to come get us and take us home vs. boarding the bus to take us to the Cary Train Station.

Watching his Elmo DVD on the Train!

Wrestling with Uncle Greg (not sure who was having more fun!)
Big Hugs for Uncle Greg!

Checking out Eric's Phone!

Let's Go Miami Dolphins!

Mommy and Jack swinging at the Neighborhood Park.

Swinging with Aunt Jen!

Too Cute!

From the moment he saw the Giant Garden Tub in the master Bath he couldn't wait to take a Bubble Bath in there.

One of the many really cool things at the Park Jen took us to!
During our hour long game of Hide N Seek he quietly hid behind this scarecrow and even when Jen came in the room he didnt make a peep!
Aunt Ellen, Jack and Uncle Greg!
